Why I created My Discover Hub
After years of researching products, veteran resources, financial tools, travel deals, and online opportunities, I created My Discover Hub to help people avoid wasting money and find resources that actually provide value.
As a veteran and a real person — not a faceless affiliate site — I cover the categories I've personally navigated: the VA disability process, side-income tools, travel savings, cash-back apps, and health and wellness. If I wouldn't send a friend or fellow vet to it, it doesn't go on this site.
Our mission: independent, plain-English recommendations that respect your time and your wallet.
How we choose what to cover
We focus on categories where readers ask the same questions over and over, and we publish only after we've spent meaningful time with a product, service, or platform. We update reviews as products change and pull recommendations when they no longer deserve them.
Editorial independence
Picks are chosen by editors, not algorithms, and not by the brands themselves. If we have a financial relationship with a company, we disclose it on the page — every time. We are reader-supported: when you buy through a link on this site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes which products we recommend, and brands cannot pay for placement.
